Reviews and Ratings
The hotel provides an economy room that's quite small but suitable for basic needs. However, it can get a bit warm due to the lack of air conditioning and limited ventilation. The location, while requiring a car, is industrial and far from main centers.
Staying at this hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were spacious with picture windows and a radiator which was handy for drying clothes, giving a new and quiet feeling; however, the location was not ideal as there were no restaurants within walking distance. The service was friendly, and the breakfast offerings, though limited, were good. Overall, the hotel worked well with my travel plans, outside the hustle of Reykjavik.
The hotel has decent rooms with a comfortable bed, good bathrooms, and friendly staff. However, the entry door only opens halfway due to the room size. The location is convenient from a traffic point of view, close to everything, but not near the city. The dining offers a good selection of foods, suitable for breakfast and lunch. The hotel's service is good, offering housekeeping, welcome drink, tours/ticket assistance, and happy hour.
For my last stay before flying home, the rooms were all very clean, spacious, and warm. The lack of air conditioning and limited window opening may make it get warm, though lacking cross ventilation was noticeable. The hotel's location in the industrial park had its ups and downs, from being perfectly situated between Reykjavik, Golden Circle, and Blue Lagoon to the downside of not being able to walk anywhere for lunch or dinner.
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The room was nice and big with picture windows and a convenient radiator for drying clothes, though the layout with the wall partition was a bit inconvenient for keeping noise levels down, especially for our child. The service was satisfactory overall. The location was a bit industrial but ideal for late arrivals or those planning to visit Reykjavik the next day. The dining experience was mixed, with some disappointment in the food offerings. The hotel had decent facilities to offer.
The hotel had big and comfortable rooms with a little couch, good breakfast, and friendly staff. However, it is situated next to a road which can be noisier than regular rooms.
